T-fal Prima FV3756 replaces T-fal Prima FV3056. This iron embodies agility and simplicity for efficient ironing. Thoughtfully designed iron smoothes out wrinkles quickly and easily. The non-stick PTFE soleplate glides easily on all fabrics offering excellent non-stick and scratch resistant properties. Iron produces continuous steam (up to 25-gram per minute) and delivers a powerful burst of steam (60-gram/min) helping removing stubborn wrinkles. Continuous steam and soleplate temperature are both adjustable to the fabric type. Temperature indicator light goes off when selected temperature is reached. Use iron on a flat surface for traditional ironing or hold it upright for vertically steaming out wrinkles from hanging drapes and delicate garments. Calc-recollecting valve provides better long-lasting performances. Its large 10-ounce water-tank size means fewer refills necessary while the anti-drip system prevents water leaks when the iron is not hot enough to steam. Lightweight, the 1400-watt iron endears itself to users with its soft grip handle making ironing easier. In addition, the anti-slip and stable heel prevents tipping over for added safety. It also comes with a 3-way auto off feature. Iron will shut off automatically after 30 seconds of inactivity if left on its soleplate or tipped over on its side; if left vertically on its heel rest, it will shut off after eight minutes. Iron measures approximately 5.9x11.1x inches and carries a one year limited warranty.

Ultra Good Iron

I saw this at a wholesale club(cheaper) and bought it after being unhappy with a recent Black& Decker. This iron feels like it is named ..."ultra glide". I had an older Black&Decker that was top of the line with a non stick plate. It finally died after ten years so I bought another non stick Black& Decker. I found the new black and decker to be poorly made and it had issues with sticking and getting starch build up that needed cleaning often. When I saw this T-Fal, I was taken back by the unusual plate surface. It had more holes for steam on the bottom than the black and decker, and almost a glass like appearance on the plate. It is very different from any other iron I have used as it feels like it is just sliding across a shirt. As a result, the fabric tends to straighten easier as you go along and as a result, you don't get accidental creasing as easily while ironing. This makes ironing quicker and less of a chore. This is a huge improvement over other irons as it really is an "ultra glide". The steam works well. I think this is a great home iron and this product is a game changer based on its non stick plate. My only gripe is the tempature setting is a dial and it should be a digital tempature setting.

T-Fal Ultra Guide iron

Finally! An iron that actually gets hot! If you want to get wrinkles out of your clothing this is the iron for you. At 1700 watts this baby gets hot. The only downside is the noise the iron makes when using the high steam control which I always use. Since my clothes now are neatly pressed, I guess I can live with the noise of bubbbling water.

I have purchased three different brands of steam iron over the last two years. Namely Black and Decker, Panasonic, and whatever brand makes the Shark. The most irritating thing about steam irons is that they shed water through the steam holes, leaving large spots of water which then have to be dried out by the iron. This is the first unit that I have had that does not do that. So I give it accolades for that. I will now give away my other irons to my daughters. The only weakness in this iron is the temperature setting control, which has no indicators on it as to heat level so you kind of have to experiment with it and not turn it too hot. Other irons indicate silk, polyester, cotton etc. But this one does not. But I will still take it over other major brands. So if you want a steam iron that does not drip or leak through the holes when you are ironing this is the one to have.
